A TIMELY WARNING AND A LARGE FINE FOR THE START OF 2020. (£275,000 for having files lying around!)
On 20th December the ICO issued a fine of £275,000 to 'Doorstep Dispensaree Ltd' a firm who deliver medicines to customers and care homes because they had failed to properly protect a large number of files in their business premises.
All Business Owners should review the security of their paper files and documents just as much as their computer ones! This is the case whether you have multi million pound offices, a small shop or you work from home.
